Calendar Dashboard
The Calendar Dashboard provides inspection analytics and appointment distribution metrics across your team's calendars. It is a tab within the Calendar app, accessible to users with Calendar App access.
Accessing the Dashboard
- Open the Calendar app from the GovAssist app launcher
- Click the Dashboard tab in the top navigation
Dashboard Layout
The Dashboard shows three charts on a single scrollable page, each driven by a shared filter.
Common Filters
Before viewing charts, apply filters using the filter button in the top right:
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Date Range | Restrict data to a specific date range |
| Calendar | Filter by a specific inspection calendar |
Click Apply to update all charts simultaneously. The filter icon shows an active filter count when filters are applied.
Download PDF
Click Download PDF (top right) to export the current dashboard view as a PDF file. All three charts are included in the export.
Charts
Status Distribution (Pie Chart)
Shows the breakdown of appointments by status across the selected calendar and date range.
Each status is represented as a slice of the pie. Hover a slice to see the exact count and percentage.
Permit Type Distribution (Bar Chart)
Shows appointment volume broken down by permit type. Useful for identifying which permit types generate the most inspection activity.
User Distribution (Bar Chart)
Shows appointment volume broken down by assigned inspector (user). Useful for identifying workload distribution across the inspection team.
