Compliance Reporting

The Permitting solution does not include a dedicated compliance reporting module. Compliance metrics are generated through two tools that are part of the standard platform: Entity Manager Dashboard views and the Calendar Dashboard.


Inspection Analytics (Calendar Dashboard)

The Calendar Dashboard provides built-in inspection metrics available to any user with Calendar App access.

Navigate to: Calendar app > Dashboard tab

Status DistributionBreakdown of appointment statuses (Scheduled, Completed, Cancelled, etc.)

Filtering: Apply a date range and calendar filter before exporting. Click Download PDF to export the dashboard as a PDF.

Common compliance uses:

  • Inspection completion rates over a date range
  • Inspector workload distribution
  • Volume by permit type for a reporting period

Permit Data Reporting (Entity Manager)

Permit processing metrics (processing times, approval rates, fee collection, backlog counts) are tracked through Entity Manager Dashboard views. These views are configured by administrators and display data from the Permits entity.

Navigate to: Entity Manager > [your configured dashboard view]

Dashboard views in Entity Manager support:

  • Charts and metric cards configured by administrators
  • Filterable grid views that can be queried by status, date, permit type, or assigned staff
  • Data export from grid views to CSV/Excel

Common compliance uses:

  • Permits submitted vs. approved in a date range
  • Average time from submission to approval
  • Fee collection totals by period
  • Active/pending/denied permit counts

If your deployment does not have a compliance dashboard view configured, contact your System Manager to create one. See View Configuration for how Dashboard views are built.


Audit Trail

Individual permit records maintain a full audit log of all field changes, status transitions, document uploads, and payment activity. Access the audit log from any record in Entity Manager using the Record History panel.
